UP Diliman is proud to be the largest network and one of the first in the Philippines to implement full-IPv6 connectivity from its core services down to its clients. This has gone a long way since UP Diliman, in cooperation with the country's Department of Science and Technology - Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), have first implemented their experimental IPv6 network more than a decade ago.

In 2008, UP Diliman has successfully implemented its first native IPv6 peering with DOST-ASTI's Philippine Research, Education and Government Network (PREGINET).

On June 7, 2011, UP Diliman rolled out full IPv6 implementation on its campus, with more than 15,000 clients and 100 LANs connected on IPv6.
